Kantha Quilts
Kantha quilts are large blankets made from about five sari layers, which are hand-stitched together. They can be adorned with different stitching patterns. It takes an entire month to stitch a full-size blanket!
The standard size of a quilt is around 200 x 150cm, but we can make larger sizes as well. The weight of the quilt varies according to the number of sari layers used.
Baby Quilts
Baby blankets are mini versions of the larger quilts and take about ten days to complete. We make square blankets (100 x 100cm) and rectangular ones (140 x 90cm). Our baby blankets are wonderfully soft and also embellished with beautiful, hand-stitched patterns.
Placemats
For your perfect dining table, we offer lovely, hand-stitched placemats. They come either in a rectangular (about 33 x 45cm) or round shape. Each placemat is a little work of art in itself!
Table Runners
Our table runners measure around 170cm in lenght and 40cm in width. They can be combined with a set of matching placemats if desired.
Scarves and Shawls
Our scarves and shawls are statement accessories, made from either cotton or silk. The shawls can also be made in wool. Scarves measure around 170 x 40cm, shawls around 190 x 70cm. Like all our products, they come with beautiful stitching patterns and optionally with a fringe on either end.
Customisation
We are happy to customise all products with regard to size, number of saris levels, fabric colours and stitching patterns. If you have your own products ideas please contact us and talk to us about them!
